capacity and reform programmes, the provision of economic and
consulting engineering specialists, foreign exchange reserves and debt
management and trade finance; training in all its aspects is a
particular specialism.
• Belmont Management Consultants Limited
This firm is based in England but offering services throughout the
non-OECD world. They are agriculture, agri-processing and agricultural
products specialists across-the-board covering annual and perennial
crops, sylviculture, horticulture, textiles and grain and other crop
storage, financing and marketing functions.
We also have less formalised arrangements with, amongst others :
• The Imani Group of Mauritius, South Africa, Zimbabwe and
Malawi - specialists in applied economics, trade development and
regional economic integration.
• Loxon Venn of South Africa - agricultural experts both in
research and in the field, extending to participation in Spatial
Development Initiatives.
•Phaleng Consultancies (Pty) Limited of Botswana - specialists
in macroeconomics, monetary and exchange rate policy issues, terms of
trade, etc.
• Austral Group of Mozambique, South Africa and Angola,
economic and management consultants and events organisers and key
advisers to the official sector in Mozambique in particular.
Further we have worked on a once-off basis both with several other
major consultancy firms headquartered in USA and UK and the
