• Detail investigation into a country’s foreign exchange and budgetary out-turn over an extended period from data that had been corrupted as a policy measure in order to reflect desired outcomes rather than actual. The resultant re-presentation of data led to re-statement of IMF’s national statistical data and to redirection of the country’s economic planning process (client country funded).

• A 20 year tabulation of monetary, fiscal and exchange rate data for a member country of the Southern Africa Foundation for Economic Research highlighting the distortions resulting from negative real interest rates and an over-valued exchange rate. Backed by findings from other studies, these features were reversed shortly after (nominal fee from SAFER).

• Part of EDI team in an extended retreat for the Cabinet of a country preceding its move from a command economy to a market driven economy (World Bank funded).
